November 17, 2025: Appalachian Power invites community members and landowners in the project area to an in-person open house to speak with project members to learn more. There is no formal presentation, so landowners can attend at any time at a location most convenient to them. The project team plans to share the same information at each event. Landowners are encouraged to submit their feedback about the project by Friday, December 19. Appalachian Power crews plan to install steel H-frame, 3-pole structures and lattice towers.
The
proposed structures are approximately 30 feet taller than the existing structures.
