The proposed project involves building approximately 17 miles of 345-kV transmission line to support industrial growth.
Fall 2020: AEP Texas invited landowners along the preliminary routing links to participate in a virtual town hall, held in November.
Spring 2021: Following review of public input and additional route analysis by the AEP Texas project team, company representatives filed a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC).
