Southeast OhioArea Improvements

Power grid upgrades are under way to strengthen the electric system in Monroe, Noble and Washington counties. AEP Ohio and local electric cooperatives are coordinating efforts on the Southeast Ohio Area Improvements Project. The approximate $250 million investment by AEP Ohio involves building 55 miles of power line, building three substations and upgrading other electrical facilities to increase service reliability and support economic growth.
