The Lyka Transmission Project involves:
The project meets the power needs of a customer's new facility, which AEP Ohio is obligated to serve, and addresses the area's growing demand for energy by strengthening the transmission system.
This project requires Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) approval.
AEP Ohio representatives invite community members to learn more about the project and share feedback. Please join us from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center - South Hall, located at 7 Town Square in Lima. There is no formal presentation, so you can arrive at any time during the event. Visitors can view detailed maps and talk with team members about the proposed study segments.
