AEP Ohio representatives plan power grid upgrades to improve electric reliability for customers in Holmes County.
The Black Diamond-Stillwell Transmission Line Project involves:
Crews plan to rebuild the power line in or near it's existing right-of-way corridor and may need to supplement or acquire new easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line. Crews expect to begin construction fall 2023 and continue through summer 2026.
Summer 2023: Company representatives are evaluating feedback from the community to determine a final line route.
August 2022: AEP Ohio representatives invite the community to attend an in-person open house from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, at Killbuck Elementary School gymnasium located at 299 School Street in Killbuck. You can view detailed maps and talk with team members about the proposed study segments. There is no formal presentation, so you can arrive at any time during the event.
