St. ClairsvilleArea Improvements

AEP Ohio representatives plan power grid upgrades near St.Clairsville. Upgrades involve constructing about 1 mile of 69-kilovolt (kV) transmission line, rebuilding about 12 miles of 69-kV transmission line and installing equipment to improve the operation of the power grid.

Company representatives plan to rebuild the power line in the existing right-of-way, although they might need to acquire new easements or supplement current easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line.

As a result of the social distancing recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we held a virtual open house to obtain feedback from the community.
