Kiwi Extension 138 kV Transmission Project

AEP Ohio representatives plan to upgrade the electric transmission network in Harrison County. The Kiwi Transmission Project involves building a substation, expanding an existing substation and building about 5 miles of 138-kilovolt (kV) transmission line. If approved, crews plan to begin construction in late 2027 and conclude by fall 2028.
