The Stillwell-Jelloway-Loudonville Transmission Line Project involves:
Company representatives plan to build the power line in an approximate 60-80 foot wide right-of-way corridor and plan to acquire new easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line. Crews expect to begin building the line summer 2025 and continue through fall 2028.
Summer 2023: The final line route was announced in September 2022. Crews expect to begin construction next fall.
February 2022: AEP Ohio representatives invite the community to attend an in-person open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, at Danville Elementary and Junior High School gymnasium located at 205 West Rambo Street in Danville. You can view detailed maps and talk with team members about the proposed study segments. There is no formal presentation, so you can arrive at any time during the event.
