AEP Ohio representatives plan to upgrade the electric transmission network serving customers in Harrison County. The project involves rebuilding about 10 miles of power line to increase electric reliability in the area. Plans call for rebuilding the power line in the existing right-of-way, although company representatives might need to acquire new or supplement current easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line.
Landowners can expect information on next steps from Austin Russell of O.R. Colan, the right-of-way agent representing AEP Ohio on this project. Field activities are scheduled to begin toward the beginning of 2020 and continue through summer.
