Maliszewski-CorridorTransmission Line Reconductor Project

The Maliszewski-Corridor Transmission Line Reconductor Project focuses on upgrading and modernizing the local power grid to enhance service reliability in Franklin, Delaware and Union counties. The project involves replacing the wires, or reconductoring, on about 15 miles of 345-kilovolt (kV) transmission lines and upgrading existing substations to enhance service reliability in the area. This project requires Ohio Power Siting Board approval. If approved, crews plan to begin construction in early 2028 and conclude in summer 2029.
