Hemlock - BrysonTransmission Line Project


AEP Ohio representatives plan power grid upgrades to improve electric reliability for customers in Meigs County. The Hemlock-Bryson Transmission Line Project involves building about 4 miles of 69-kilovolt power line, installing switch equipment and upgrading a substation.

Early 2026: As the project progresses, the project team adjusted the construction schedule to allow for continued discussions with impacted landowners. Property ROW, LLC continues to serve as AEP Ohio's right-of-way-representative for this project.
