These upgrades are mandated by PJM Interconnection, the regional transmission organization that ensures compliance with federal requirements.
Crews plan to rebuild most of the power line within or near the existing right-of-way corridor. This may involve updating or supplementing current easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line.
