Planned upgrades to a 41-mile transmission line in Osage County will improve electric service to customers and support economic growth and development in the area. Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) plans to upgrade these electric transmission facilities in Osage County to bring the poles and wires, also referred to as conductor, up to current standards and strengthen the local transmission system.
PSO hosted an informational open house on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at the Pawhuska Community Center at 520 Lynn Avenue in Pawhuska.
Right-of-way agents plan to begin working with affected landowners to discuss supplemental easements late 2019.
Construction crews plan to begin work in Spring 2020.
