Glencoe - SomertonTransmission Line Rebuild Project
AEP Ohio representatives plan to upgrade the electric transmission network serving customers in Belmont County. The project involves rebuilding about 21 miles of power line to increase electric reliability in the area. Plans call for rebuilding the power line in the existing right-of-way, although company representatives might need to supplement current easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line.

Landowners can expect information on next steps from Bill Piko of Property ROW, the right-of-way agent representing AEP Ohio on this project. Field activities are scheduled to begin toward the end of 2019 and continue through spring.
